ART JOURNALLING FOR WELLBEING

Sunday 1 November 9.30-3pm

Description

Take time out for yourself and explore how art journalling can support your creativity and wellbeing. In this practical one-day retreat, Margaret will guide you through exercises designed to build confidence in your intuition and provide a safe, personal space in which to explore and express your ideas. Learn what an art or visual journal can be and how to design one that is personal to your needs and remains “for your eyes only”. Using words, symbols, sketches, colour and other creative techniques, you’ll begin developing a visual vocabulary that reflects your personality. Create a range of journal pages capturing feelings, values, hopes and dreams, as well as memories, nature observations, travel experiences or artistic experiments. All materials are provided, including a journal, waterproof pen and oil pastels. Limited to 12 participants.

Margaret has used written and visual journals throughout her life and has experienced the power of creativity to build resilience, inner strength and intuition. She holds a Diploma in Art & Creativity and brings both practical experience and personal research into creativity to this workshop.
