Experience the flavours and traditions of one of the region’s most iconic dishes. This part-demonstration, part hands-on cooking class introduces you to mansaf — tender meat served with fragrant rice and a traditional yoghurt-based sauce.
Manal will demonstrate the key stages of preparing mansaf, with opportunities for you to get involved and learn how to balance spices and flavours. You’ll also discover the cultural importance of the dish and the traditions of Jordanian hospitality and shared meals. Manal Dokhan is a Palestinian cook and food educator passionate about sharing Palestinian food, stories and traditions, and creating a welcoming space for people to connect through cooking and food
The session includes cooking, storytelling and sharing the finished meal together at the end. Suitable for beginners and anyone interested in Middle Eastern cuisine and culture. All ingredients are provided.
