HUNDERTWASSER FOR ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS

Sunday 9 August from 10am to 4pm

Description

This course is for absolute beginners: those who’ve never picked up a paintbrush or have always wanted to explore art but don’t know where to begin. The pace is gentle and during the session you will learn about:

• Hundertwasser and his work and why his paintings and prints work so well

• line and shape; especially organic shapes and spirals, then explore how-to draw them

• colour, then have a go at painting bands of vibrant colours in his style using your new knowledge

• unusual angles and quirky features to draw

Creative Director of Art Grooves, Margaret Taylor graduated from The Learning Connexion (Diploma in Art & Creativity) 12 years ago. Then she ran a popular art education programme for KAC for over 8 years. All materials are included in the fee with a kit you get to keep after the course.
