MAKING ART: MADE SIMPLE

Description
Margaret will guide you in making art in ways that simplify the process and de-mystify the jargon. Her techniques will help you overcome common barriers to being creative. We’ll take inspiration from NZ and International artists in this course. The materials kit provided allows you to continue learning at home between classes, if you wish. You’ll learn mark-making and sketching using various dry materials including graphite. Then you’ll learn how to paint a simple landscape on canvas. Her gentle feedback and enthusiasm, alongside structured exercises, will build your skill and confidence. Suitable for: absolute or early-stage beginners.
