WEA BOOK GROUPS

First Monday of month, 12-1pm NO SPACES email to go on waitlist First Thursday of month, 6-7.30pm SPACES AVAILABLE

Description

Managed through the Book Discussion Scheme, these groups are for those that love books and the values at the heart of WEA! Each month you will receive a new book to read that aligns to our WEA philosophy (think themes of social and environmental justice, stories of community and compassion, tales of hope and transformation). The group will come together for a lively discussion before heading home with the next book to read. There will be a mixture of fiction and non-fiction, and a chance to choose future reads from the extensive Book Discussion Scheme catalogue.  Please note you must be a WEA member to join these groups. Membership costs as little as $15 a year and gets you a range of benefits from course discounts to regular newsletters. We currently have spaces available in our Thursday evening group. Email your interest today to margaret@cwea.org.nz
