Description

Discover Australian and New Zealand textile creation and design in this one- off talk. From indigenous weavers to contemporary artists, Dr Natalenko will explore some of the most celebrated textile artists from both our shores and from across the ditch! Dr Rie Natalenko has a doctorate in Creative Arts, and has won awards for fiction, poetry and screenwriting. She has taught all her life in schools, college, university, and in the community. Her books “Share your Skills”, “The Family Memory Project” and “The Family Message Book” cover craft workshops and family history respectively.
