Friday 13th June, from 10am-12noon

Description

Join Margaret to explore the distinctive and multi-faceted talent of the visionary artist and activist Hundertwasser.  He became an international celebrity who restored Vienna to prominence in the art world. His lush and luminous colour, mastered over a 40 year career, delight the senses. In this Art History talk Margaret will reveal her views on their intricacy, then guide you in developing your own viewpoint.  We’ll also view his unique architecture throughout the world and in Whangarei’s new Art Centre and Wairau indigenous gallery.

Creative Director of Art Grooves, Margaret Taylor graduated from The Learning Connexion (Diploma in Art & Creativity) 12 years ago. Then ran a popular art education programme for Karori Arts & Crafts for over 8 years.
