LIVING WELL AS AN ADULT WITH ADHD
Starts 19 October, No class on 26th October as it is a public holiday.
Description
ADHD can be confusing, especially as an adult. This practical and compassionate course explores how ADHD can show up in everyday life, including time blindness, hyperfocus, masking, emotional regulation, executive functioning, motivation and overwhelm. Across four sessions, you’ll try small, low-pressure experiments designed to help you discover what works for your brain. Topics may include ADHD-friendly planning, managing distraction, dopamine and motivation, and practical approaches to emotional regulation. The aim is not to “try harder”, but to work with your nervous system and build realistic, sustainable and kind strategies. Medication may be discussed where relevant, but the focus is on skills and everyday support.
Suitable for anyone aged 17 and over, whether diagnosed, undiagnosed or supporting someone with ADHD.
