CHUNKY BASKETS WITH YARN FROM T-SHIRTS & OLD JEANS

Join Kazuko for this fun up-cycling session where you will turn old t-shirts and jeans into fun, useful and colourful baskets and pot covers. First, she will help participants to turn the t-shirts and jeans into yarn before using simple techniques to weave and crochet them together into baskets of varying shapes and sizes. Kazuko is an accomplished knitter and crocheter who loves making new things from old and saving money and resources. This class is suitable for adults and curious kids from 8 years and up, but younger ones may need active help from a parent or caregiver. You are welcome to bring your own T-shirts; however we have plenty of materials for the day if you don't.
