PRINT MAKING CARDS AND GIFT TAGS

This fun workshop is for anyone wanting to give print making a go or develop their skills further. We will focus on making small prints that are ideal for gift cards, tags and/or Christmas cards. There will be various forms of printmaking to choose from, including relief printing, e.g. Lino, wood, cardboard, polystyrene prints, plus monoprints, stencilling etc. Please bring along any photos and/or drawings with you that you would like to use as inspiration for your prints. There will also be inspiration available on the day! Wear/bring an old shirt as printing can be messy. We will provide some inks, plates/blocks, tools, paper, materials and the use of a press (cost included). Please bring your own lunch, tea and coffee provided. Diane was formerly an HoD in Art and Art History and an Education Officer at the Christchurch Art Gallery where she still guides and occasionally teaches. She enjoys making stuff.
