CORALS – PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE
Monday 3rd March, 6-8pm, $koha
Description
What sort of animals are corals? What role do they have in the ocean ecosystem? When did they evolve and how has their abundance changed over time? Where do they live at present? We are placing them under threat from warming and acidifying seas and other forms of human impact. What might be their future and how can we help ensure that they might continue to thrive?
Paul Broady has a background in biology and a long-term interest in climate change. He has studied some of the remotest regions of our world and is passionate about sharing his knowledge with others. As part of the Sea Week festival we bring this to you for a koha (donation). Please give what you can to ensure we can keep participating in festivals like these.
