FIRST TIME TANGLING
Thursday 20th Feb, 6-7.30pm
Description
A one-off session to learn the Zentangle Method, an easy to learn, and fun way to create structured patterns one stroke at a time. At its heart Zentangle art is all about being in the moment as you flow with your pen lines to create the different patterns (known as tangles) The method allows for the drawing to unfold in an unplanned yet structured way, it's a lot of fun. Even those who 'think' they are uncreative will find this an easy method to pick up. You'll create a couple of pieces of work and have a mini kit of gorgeous tools to go home with to explore some more. Materials provided. Ildica Boyd has by her own admission a 'passion for patterns'! If not teaching or doing Zentangle (including some large-scale community projects), she can be found swapping her pen for a shuttle, and will be busy weaving on her loom, or teaching that too.
