From Marie Curie and Hans Christian Andersen to ABBA, Lego and Bluetooth, these lively presentations combine history, humour and storytelling to explore some of the fascinating figures and ideas that helped shape our modern world.

Dr Rie Natalenko has a doctorate in Creative Arts (screenwriting), and has won awards for fiction, poetry and screenwriting. She lectures regularly on cruises around the world.
