MEET YOUR NERVOUS SYSTEM
Starts 2nd June
Description
Many of us move through life in a state of rush, busy-ness, or overwhelm, which can leave our bodies in a near-constant state of stress. Our autonomic nervous system works hard to keep us safe by detecting risk and shifting us into responses such as fight, flight, or freeze—an important and powerful safety mechanism.
In this workshop you’ll learn about the nervous system in an experiential, embodied way. Together we’ll explore how it works, how to recognise your own nervous system states, and what helps you return to a sense of calm, safety, and connection. Through simple practices and reflection, you’ll develop practical tools to support regulation and create more space and steadiness in everyday life. Becky Collett has spent her life fascinated by how humans work, and passionate about supporting people to better understand themselves.
