CONSERVATION PERSPECTIVES

Starts 13th March, 10-11.30am

Description

In a world dominated by humans and human-centric news stories, where do non-human animals and our shared environment fit in with current affairs? Join Fiona to explore what is (and isn't) happening in modern conservation around the world, from rewilding projects to how our actions and choices impact the threats or success of conservation at home and abroad. Fiona is a UK-born vet, has a postgraduate degree in conservation medicine, and works with wildlife at Canterbury's only wildlife hospital. The talks will be as follows:

13th - Rewilding: A Conservation Story

20th - Pollution: Out of Sight, Out of Mind?

27th - A Consumer's Guide to Conservation
