ANCIENT ETHICS FOR MODERN TIMES

Starts 8th October, 10-12,

Description

In recent decades, many parts of the world have seen a resurgence in a range of ancient ethical systems: Epicureans, Stoics, Cynics and more. This course will cover five distinct ancient moral/ethical systems, their context, their evolution over the millennia, and their modern versions. We will also reflect on some more recent ethical systems and how they compare to and differ from their ancient predecessors.
