BEGINNER NEEDLE FELTING – FREESTYLE

Needle felting is an incredibly addictive and beginner friendly craft that’s perfect for anyone wanting to explore their creativity. In this course you will learn the basics including, selecting wools, felting needles and pads for the job, and how to use these tools to their best effect. You will develop shapes and textures, including a satisfyingly dense felted ball, into your own project. Don’t worry if you’re not confident in your creative or design ability as Nina will prompt and guide you in all aspects of the process. Students will be supplied with a starter pack, plus some additional resources, then required to purchase/supply further materials as their individual projects evolve.

Nina came to needle felting late into her artistic career and fell in love with both the potential of this much under-explored medium and tactile catharsis of the process. You will too!
