CRAFT FOR A CAUSE

Starts 24th July, 10.30 - 12 noon,

Description

Are you a keen crafter looking for a creative outlet? Do you love craft and want an excuse to do more of it? This group will meet weekly and put their crafting skills to good use by supporting a variety of local causes. So far we've been making clothing, blankets, cards, dish cloths, tote bags and a variety of items for various charities, as well as for sale at the WEA. The group will gather, craft together and go where the collective and individual energy is. Each week you can either bring your own project to work on or work collectively with the group to produce items. Ideas will be shared and causes to support decided upon by the group. We work with, and are inspired by, materials generously donated by WEA members. Donations of fabric, wool and crafting materials dropped into the WEA are most appreciated.

Please bring a donation to the sessions, suggested $3 per session.
