Join Simon to learn about why, “It’s alive, it’s alive’ (Frankenstein 1931) and “I don’t drink….wine” (Dracula 1931) defined this era of golden classics. Simon is an award-winning writer, both in NZ and the US and an avid film buff. He has twice won the LIANZ non-fiction book of the year award. His book The Little Book of Spiders was released globally in April 2024. His fourth book for Te Papa Press, The Incredible insects of Aotearoa, Will be released in May 2025.
