EPIDEMIC OF LONELINESS- SO CONNECTED AND YET NOT

Starts 13th May, 12.30-2.30pm

Description

Humanity is perhaps more electronically connected than ever - from cell phones to social media, to online influencers. Yet, most generations also report increased levels of disconnection as well, with physical connections seemingly on the way out. In this 2-week course we consider past reflections and current views on the link between loneliness, depression, and anxiety, as whether this epidemic might even be considered a medical or moral crisis.
