SASHIKO FOR CHRISTMAS

Description
Use the beautiful Japanese stitching technique of Sashiko to create your own Christmas ornament or handmade gift. Over 3 sessions, Kazuko will introduce the basic stitches and guide you through a selection of festive projects suited to different skill levels. By the end of the course, you’ll have developed a basic understanding of Sashiko and completed at least one Christmas project, such as a miniature Christmas tree.
A little hand-stitching experience would be helpful, but beginners are warmly welcomed. A starter needle and materials for the miniature tree will be provided. Please bring any sewing equipment you have, especially scissors. You’re also welcome to bring a favourite pattern or kit and Kazuko will help you get started. Limited to 10 participants.
