USE YOUR ART IN ACTIVISM WORKSHOP

Tuesday 7 July, 10am-12pm for 8-12yrs

Description

Join NZ artists who have used their art in protests. Pat Hanly; an anti-nuclear activist, Ralph Hotere’s [Aramoana series protesting against an aluminium smelter that would destroy wetlands] and Friedrich Hundertwasser's nature conservation with themes like "save the rain and "save the whales" will inspire us!

So, if you want your art to make a difference and create change in the world, join Margaret in this workshop. Learn to develop your own slogans and graphic artwork to make your art memorable and eye-catching for posters or flyers. All materials required are provided.
