JOYFUL CHORES?! (YES, REALLY.)

Starts 18th February, 11.15-12.15pm

Description

Ever look around and feel a bit overwhelmed by stuff — the kitchen bench, the in-box, the piles of “things I’ll sort later”? Join Kazuko Iwai for a playful, practical lunchtime session full of small, realistic tips that make everyday life feel lighter.

Kazuko brings her warm humour and her experience of Wabi-Sabi — the Japanese art of finding ease and beauty in simplicity — to show how tiny changes in mindset and habit can gently declutter and reorganise home life. And yes, she speaks from experience: she used to be the one making the mess — which is what makes her tips so good.

Together we’ll explore:

• simple, non-stressful ways to downsize and let go of things

• easier kitchen and living-area organisation

• how to keep the house tidy without perfection

• when to use technology (and when to ignore it!)

• how to stop feeling guilty about chores

Expect laughter. Expect relief. Expect to leave with small, doable steps that make everyday living feel calmer, clearer and kinder to yourself. Ideal for anyone who feels overwhelmed by chores, busy, or simply craving a little more ease at home.
