Description
The 19th and 20th centuries have seen the rise of a half-dozen key core social sciences which have progressed from fringe to mainstream ideas. From Sociology and Psychology to Economics and Gender/Feminist theory, and Anthropology and Archaeology, this course will look at the development of the social sciences into the 21st century. We will also consider how these disciplines are relevant in understanding society now, and global developments heading into the future.
