HISTORY OF CENTRAL AMERICA

Starts 20th August, 12.30-2.30pm

Description

A land bridge between Mexico and South America, Central America is composed of seven small countries: Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama. The region is known for its diverse landscapes, biodiversity, and rich history shaped by its own indigenous civilizations, colonialism, and political conflicts. Often overshadowed by the Mayan, Aztec, and Inca Empires, these countries have their own heavily intertwined story to tell, which in this course we will explore.
