The Roman Empire lasted for well over a thousand years, from Kings to Republic to Empire.  From a small collection of tribes into world-dominating behemoth, the story of Rome is filled with bravery, treachery, intrigue and warfare.  In this course we study Rome from its rise to its fall, and all the bumps along the way - its impact on laws, engineering, art, and the Catholic Church.
